There is no obligation, and the consultation is completely free!
Our sciatica exercise for this week is the Piriformis Stretch! The piriformis muscle runs close to the sciatic nerve so it can irritate the nerve and cause sciatic pain. When the piriformis muscle becomes tight and/or inflamed it can irritate the sciatic nerve. This can lead to a tingling and numbness that runs from the lower back all the way down the leg and even into your foot. It is very important to stretch the piriformis muscle if you are suffering from sciatica.
When people have back pain, they almost never consider that the way they are breathing could have any kind of impact on it. Most people don't even realize that they can breathe in different ways. And surprisingly, breathing the wrong way can actually make your back pain worse!
When you're a professional football player, you have a high tolerance for pain and you learn to fight through any pain or injuries you might be experiencing. This is what Emery Moorehead did throughout his 12 year career, but at the time he didn't realize the damage he was doing to his back. As he got older the pain got more and more noticeable and he couldn't just live with it any longer. He had tried several other treatments that only helped a little, so he came to IBI for help instead.
This week's diet tip of foods that can help with back pain is a spice called Turmeric! Most people know it as the main spice in the Indian food Curry; in fact Turmeric is what gives Curry its yellow color. The Indian people have been using it for thousands of years, not just as a spice but as a medicinal herb as well. Turmeric has many beneficial properties that can help not only with your back pain but other health problems as well.
