Weeding – Bending and twisting over at the waist for extended periods is a good way to strain your back muscle and cause you back pain. Go to your local department or hardware store and purchase a rubber gardening mat and or a wheeled gardening stool. Use the rubber gardening mat to kneel on. Use the wheeled gardening stool to sit on while weeding or you can sit directly on the ground. Try not to bend over for too long. Always take breaks and stretch! Now that the warm weather is officially here many of you are spending your days outside and on the water.
