Our sciatica exercise for this week is the Calf Stretch! The Sciatic Nerve is the largest nerve in the human body and is about as wide as a thumb. It travels from the lower spine down through the legs and all the way down to the foot. Because of that, Sciatica pain can cause numbness or even soreness in the calf. The Calf Stretch can help relieve the pain present in the calf due to Sciatica.

And the fact that people are sitting so much more is one of the main reasons for the dramatic increase in the number of cases of back, neck, and sciatica pain in such a short amount of time.

Back pain can happen suddenly, and at any time. This pain can happen for any number of reasons, like from an injury, herniated or bulging disc, a strain, or poor posture. One of the most common reasons that sudden back pain happens is when you are bending over. It may be something as simple as a minor strain, but the pain definitely isn't minor!
