Also, did you know that certain foods that can be good or bad for your back pain? Some foods can cause inflammation in your body, which can make back, neck, or sciatica pain worse. Conversely, some foods can reduce inflammation and relieve the pain. Here are some tips of what foods to try and avoid, and which you should eat more of for better health:

Try To Avoid or Limit:

  • Anything high in Sugar
  • Anything processed
  • Soft drinks, coffee, alcohol
  • Most dairy products (butter, milk, cheese)
  • Anything with Gluten
  • Beef, pork, or anything meat related
  • Corn
  • Ketchup, mustard, barbecue sauce

Have some more:

  • Chicken, turkey, and fish
  • Potatoes, oats, and rice
  • Most fruits (except oranges)
  • Most veggies (except corn)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic, cinnamon, and other spices
  • Herbal tea
  • Almonds, walnuts, cashews, and pecans
