The Illinois Back Institute treats and eliminates back pain, by focusing on the cause of the pain. And we do it without any drugs, injections, or surgery! Some of the conditions that we treat include:
▪︎ Herniated Discs
▪︎ Bulging Discs
▪︎ Degenerated Discs
If you are suffering with back or neck pain, either from one of these conditions or something else, we can help! Your first step is to schedule a Free Consultation, where you will meet with a Patient Advocate who will answer your questions, review your case, and determine your correct course of treatment.
There is no obligation, and the consultation is completely free!
Our sciatica exercise for this week is the Hamstring Stretch! It is extremely important to have adequate hamstring flexibility so that you can improve your body mechanics and posture. If your hamstrings are too tight, it can alter those mechanics and affect your Sciatica pain.
There are many reasons why someone may have back pain. However, one of the most common reasons is also one of the most well known: poor posture. Most people have been told since they were children how important posture is, and were probably reminded often to sit or stand up straight, stop slouching, or be careful how you bend.
Eustaquio was suffering from a bulging disc in his neck that was making it hard for him to turn his head side to side and up and down. This affected his job working with heavy machinery by causing him to be slower at work. Eustaquio's daily life was also affected because he was in so much pain that it made it hard to sleep at night. He tried treatments such as going to a chiropractor and taking painkillers, but they weren’t working and Eustaquio was still in pain. Fortunately, he found the Illinois Back Institute.
There are 5 causes of Sciatica that we are going to discuss. These are all related to the spine so it is very important that we first know what the spine is and how it works. It requires a little understanding but it is not complicated in the least, and it is important that we do understand it because when you understand the spine you will be better prepared to treat it.
