Question of the day is how does back mobility help with back pain? So, probably what the question is, if my spine doesn't move the way it should how is it that when you make my spine move theway it should do I feel better. Our clinic treats a lot of back pain. And some of the most severe back pain. Herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerated discs, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, sciatica, all of the severe back problems with the disc and with the joints.
- We Treat Some Of The Most Severe Back Problems
Now, A healthy disc needs motion, when vertebra is moving, the discs are going to be healthier. But very often what happens as a result of a trauma repetitive stress, poor posture, the joints in the back of the spine get. A little bit backed up, you get adhesions, shrinking of the joint capsule, in and around the joints, and what that does is that prevents the motion. So, we have a lack of mobility, very often what happens is you have less motion at one point, but very often the activities that are requires throughout the day, require motion that very often happens above and below the joint that’s not moving. We see this all the time. A big part of our therapy is to make sure these joints are moving properly; the biggest part is where we take pressure off the disc and get healing in the disc, but we can't get the pressure off the disc if the joints aren't moving. So, by getting the joints to move what happens is you decompress the disc, and you unload the disc.
- We Cant Get Pressure Off The Joints If They Aren't Moving
A joint that doesn’t move has a compressive load on the disc all of the time. And when you have a compressive load on the disc all of the time, what happens is the disc breaks down, so by getting the vertebra to move and decompressing that disc it allows for healing in there. So, mobilizing, and getting the joints to get the proper amount of motion, is vitally important. Is the motion that decompresses the disc. That’s the key, so that’s the question of the day, we answer questions every day, and if you have any questions, you can send your questions into us, we have a lot of questions were goanna answer and well get too yours I promise. Have a good day
