Jean-Luc D'Olivera has bad back pain for the last 4 or 5 years. But for the last two years the pain has gotten increasingly worse. Recently it had gotten bad enough that he was having difficulty standing up and getting around, and he could only be comfortable when he was sitting or laying down. His back pain slowed down his life, where he couldn't do the things he used to enjoy like dancing with his wife or walking his dog. So he decided to come to the Illinois Back Institute for help, with the goal of being able to do all the things he used to again.
After Jean-Luc's pain first started he tried traditional physical therapy and epidural injections, and they helped for a little while. But eventually they stopped being effective, and the pain continued to worsen. When he came to us he said his pain on a scale of 1-10 was consistently at a five or six, and often even worse than that.
When Jean-Luc first started treatment with us, he was a little unsure about it. He didn't quite know what his back problem was, or how our treatment could help him to relieve the pain. So he decided to watch one of our weekly webinars to get a better understanding:
"For me, the webinar was very, very good. Very important ... the webinar did explain what I have, did explain how you will take care of it. And personally, I finally understand what I have and what can be done to try and fix it."
Thanks to IBI, Jean-Luc can have a normal social life again, and he met his goal of being able to walk his dog and dance with his wife again! We can help you be back pain free and get your life back too!
At the Illinois Back Institute we strive to educate everyone as much as possible about their back pain and sciatica, because it is proven that the more people know about their problem the more likely they are to eliminate it!
