Orthodontist Raymond Dunn came into the Illinois Back Institute about 8 weeks ago suffering with lower right back pain and upper left neck pain. Being an orthodontist Raymond had to be constantly bending over patients to the left side. This would cause stress and tighten up his back. Raymond also injured his back when he was 16 years old by lifting open a garage door. This injury made him more vulnerable to back pain in his future.
Over the years Raymond has gone to doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapist but the pain continued to occur on and off. For the last 20 years he has gotten a weekly massage. After hearing about the Illinois Back Institute Raymond came in and saw how different our treatment was compared to everything else he had done in the past. He liked our therapies approached to taking pressure off the back while walking and sitting and doing exercises.
After 8 weeks of treatment Raymond feels a huge improvement in his back and neck pain. The adjustments made to his spine and back have gotten him back on his feet and being active again. Raymond still needs to complete about a month of therapy but he feels great and is very excited for his future. Raymond is dedicated to the therapy and enjoys seeing other patients around him improving as well.
- “I see improvement and in talking with some of the other patients we both all agree it is a very positive approach and way to handle back and neck problems.” Said Raymond Dunn
