William Zabicki first felt the pain in his lower back while playing baseball and bending over to pick up a ground ball. After that game 6-7 years ago William has been suffering with lower back pain. The pain continued to worsen over the years. The first doctor William went to suggested he’d look into having surgery. William did not want to go through surgery and went to other doctors who suggested physical therapy. The first therapy he did was “On Land Physical Therapy” which mainly included doing different stretches. When that didn’t work William tried “Water Physical Therapy” which included water exercises to strengthen his back. All of these therapies were a temporary relief and the pain would always come back.
After seeing a commercial for the Illinois Back Institute William decided to give it a try. His MRI showed that he was suffering from a herniated disc in his lower back. By developing a herniated disc treatment that targets the core problem leading to disc degeneration, the Illinois Back Institute gives patients a viable option to the normal invasive procedures of surgery and painful injections. Functional disc rehydration treats the condition from the inside out, and works with the body's own healing properties by resupplying the damaged disc with the substance which can lead to the susceptibility to injury when missing.
William is now at the end of his treatment and feels 100% better! The pain hasn’t come back and he is back to doing things he hasn’t been able to do in years. William is confident that he will be able to get back out on the baseball field and once again play the game he loves!
- “I would definitely recommend it! I’ve already recommended it to a couple of my friends that have similar back problem. It worked for me so I’d definitely tell them to come here!” William Zabicki
