Extreme Shoulder Pain, Neck Pain & Arm Pain Treatment

Posted by Dr. Jeff Winternheimer D.C. on Mon, Dec 17, 2012 @ 01:44 PM

After hurting her knee Jacqueline’s spine was out of whack causing her neck, arm and shoulder pain. A pinched nerve in her neck caused her to feel a shooting pain going down her neck to her shoulders. The pain was so severe that Jacqueline was unable to raise her arms. Neck pain can happen anywhere in your neck, from the bottom of your head to the top of your shoulders. This pain can spread to your upper back or arms limiting how much you can move your head and neck. Not being able to raise her arms Jacqueline couldn’t do the simplest things. Jacqueline couldn’t curl her hair or reach to pick up her shoes or paint or clean up her house. The simplest tasks seemed impossible due to the pain.

For six years she had been suffering with this pain. Jacqueline tried acupuncture, doctors, orthopedics, back and neck pain specialist but the pain never went away. She was even recommended for surgery but was too scared to move forward with the surgery.

  • “It’s very scary! They’re going to operate on your spine with all those nerves in there. It’s scary to me!” Jacqueline

Late one night while Jacqueline couldn’t sleep due to the pain she saw a commercial for the Illinois Back Institute. Jacqueline made an appointment right away and started treatment. Right away she felt a difference and after 3 months of treatment she was pain free!

  • “I see some of the people who come here after having surgery and they are coming here though because the surgery doesn’t even work and their recoup from the surgery was way longer than the process of doing all this.” Jacqueline

After being in so much pain she thought she could die Jacqueline is feeling better than she ever has before. She can finally get back to doing her normal tasks without being in constant pain.

  • “Absolutely don’t wait! Don’t wait! I mean your silly if you wait because the sooner you get the process started the sooner it’s over with. It’s painless!” Jacqueline
