Chicago Police Officer, Peter Cruz suffered from tremendous back pain after an accident on the job. Peter was responding to a call & had to run down an alley when he slipped on a patch of ice. After that one accident Peter started suffering from back pain instantly. “I remember laying on the couch in tremendous pain!” said Peter Cruz. He was having issues getting in and out of the car, which was stopping him doing a good job as a police officer.
The breaking point for Peter Cruz couldn’t hold his twin children or even play with his kids due to the pain in his back. Peter’s son would beg him to play baseball or other sports outside but the pain in his back was too intense. He was missing quality time with his own children. After seeing a commercial for the Illinois Back Institute he decided to give it chance before turning to surgery.
Peter’s MRI showed that he was suffering from a herniated disc. One of the most promising herniated disc treatment options to emerge from years of experience in treating back pain is centered on the core issue in many disc related injuries; namely, disc dehydration. Dr. Jeff Winternheimer of the Illinois Back Institute has developed a revolutionary new technique, which focuses on rehydration of the spinal discs as a means of relieving this condition.
Peter finished treatment at the Illinois Back Institute and was once again pain free! The therapy taught him exercises that help strengthen his core and spine. Peter no longer has issues getting in and out of his car and now can work without worrying about having any back episodes. He is back playing baseball with his son and can finally pick up his twins with ease.
